This article will discuss different options if you seek to register a Bahrain company in Israel.

Options to Register a Bahrain Company in Israel

There are two primary and one temporary option if you seek to register a Bahrain company.

If you wish to see us discuss this information in a video format, you can watch it here:

Primary Registration Options

Both primary registration options will go through the Israeli Company Registrar, and we discuss this process more in other articles.

There are two main options available to you: establish a Bahrain company branch office in Israel or register a subsidiary of the Bahrain company in Israel.

Many large companies often choose to set up a branch office, meaning that the branch office is an extension of the foreign, parent company, and the foreign company has responsibility for commitments and contracts entered into by the branch office.  However, as a branch of a foreign company, it is not granted various tax benefits that other Israeli companies and subsidiaries enjoy.  As a profit-making entity, it is still subject to Israeli taxes.

Additionally, the subsidiary is eligible for tax benefits in Israel.

Temporary Registration Option

In order to conduct market research and ascertain which of the two primary options might be best for your company, a Bahrain company can set up a representative office in Israel.  This will allow them to come, conduct research, or oversee business activities.

The representative office is not permitted to engage in profit-yielding activities, as it is not a legal entity in and of itself, therefore, it cannot make any contracts or engage in trade.  However, after doing research with a representative office, the Bahrain company can decide which of the two primary options best suits its needs, and then register accordingly.
